I Kuttura’ta, INC is a place where residents and visitors can experience the CHamoru culture and learn of the cultures of all the islands of Micronesia. We will be building a comprehensive site to include everything from music to language, from cultural practices to ancient legends, from cooking traditional meals to crafting beautifully woven works of art, we will bring it all together to support the preservation, celebration, and exploration of the CHamoru culture.

Join us for the Micronesia Music Festival on July 27th, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Valley of the Latte!

Adult entry 18 and above is $25.00
Students 6 to 17 $10.00
Children under 6 are free.

Presented by I Kuttura’ta, Inc., the Guam W.A.V.E. Club, the Valley of the Latte, LLC., Pepsi, Jeff’s Pirates Cove, Thrive Media Group, and the Stations of KUAM.

Talo’fo’fo Guam: I Kuttura’ta, Inc, and the Guam W.A.V.E. Clubs are proud to present the “Micronesia Music Festival… Rhythm by the River”, on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 9:00 a.m.  to 5:00 p.m. at the Valley of the Latte in the villages of Talo’fo’fo and Inalahan.

The Micronesia Music Festival is a gathering of Guam’s talented local musicians celebrating their culture and talent through music. “We are pleased to have many talented local musicians from all over Micronesia who will entertain guests throughout the day” said Eddy Reyes, I’Kuttura’ta Founder.

“We will also be including local artists, jewelry makers, farmers and other Guam-made vendors to be a part of the day’s festivities, and of course touring the Valley of the Latte on the riverboat is an important feature of the day as well” he added.

This event caps off a momentous month remembering Guam’s 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of Guam. Continue the celebration of culture through music at the Micronesia Music Festival on Saturday, July 27 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Adult entry 18 and above is $25.00 students 6 to 17 $10.00 and children under 6 are free. 

Net proceeds from the event will be donated to benefit the work of I Kuttura-ta and the Guam Wave Clubs.I Kuttura’ta, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to develop a place where residents and visitors can experience the CHamoru culture as well as the many diverse cultures of the greater Micronesia region. Guam Wave Clubs, sponsored by the Tourism Education Council, is a Guam based nonprofit serving Guam since 1989 teaching students aged 8 through 18 the importance of tourism and what makes Guam a unique destination.

At the Valley of the Latte, enjoy riverboat tours, cultural performances, local artisans/vendors, food, and non-alcoholic beverages from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

At Jeff’s Pirates Cove, grab breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. then keep the festivities going with great food, refreshing drinks and a beach volleyball competition from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
